Kiosk Web

Kiosk & web browser for iPhone and iPad

Support

Kiosk Web turns your iPhone or iPad into a focused, locked-down web display. You choose a home website, which controls are visible, and which websites visitors may open. An optional administrator PIN protects the settings.

Frequently asked questions

How do I set up kiosk mode?
On first launch, Set Up Kiosk opens automatically. Enter your home page URL, choose the visible controls and website access, optionally set an administrator PIN, then tap Start Kiosk.

How do I browse the web normally?
Open Administrator Settings → Switch to Browser Mode. If a PIN is set, you will be asked to enter it.

Which websites can visitors open?
Under Website Access choose All websites, Home site only, Allowed domains or Blocked domains. Changes apply after you tap Apply Website Access.

I forgot my administrator PIN.
Use the recovery code shown when you created the PIN to set a new one. The app has no default PIN or master unlock code. If both the PIN and the recovery code are lost, the protection cannot be bypassed from within the app.

How do I clear cookies and website data?
Open Settings and choose Clear Website Data. You may be signed out of websites. Bookmarks and history are kept.

What is "Continue on Your Phone"?
It shows a QR code for your configured home URL so a visitor can open the same site on their own phone. It is generated on the device and does not transfer cookies, sessions, carts or forms.

A website asks for camera, microphone or photos.
The app asks for iOS permission only when a website you allow requests it. You can change this in the iOS Settings → Kiosk Web.

Requirements. iPhone or iPad running iOS / iPadOS 17 or later.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

This policy explains how Kiosk Web ("the app", "we") handles information. In short: we do not collect, store on our servers, sell or share any personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect any information. We operate no servers that receive data from the app.

2. Data stored on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to us:

3. Websites you visit

Kiosk Web is a browser. When you or a visitor open a website, that website receives the usual information a web server gets (such as IP address and device/browser type) and is governed by its own privacy policy. We have no control over, and no access to, that data.

4. Website icons

To show bookmark icons, the app may fetch a site's favicon directly from that site. These requests are made without cookies or credentials and do not go through any third-party or our own service.

5. Permissions

You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings → Kiosk Web.

6. Third parties

The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites.

7. Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Content shown depends entirely on the websites the administrator configures.

8. Data retention and deletion

All data stays on your device. Deleting the app removes it, except that iOS may retain Keychain items (such as the PIN hash) after deletion. You can clear website data at any time from Settings.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
